This picture shows the finish of the skirting where it meets the kitchen units. Also, the floor tile is poorly cut.

A longer shot of the kitchen/breakfast area. These are how the tiles were when we moved in. Very badly uneven.

The loft hatch had been put in the wrong place (according to the plans). We had to fight pretty hard just to get it moved. The reason it was wrong? It's correct position overhangs the bannisters by about 50mm.

The loft hatch was moved around the 20th June. As of now (14th July) it is still in this condition (unfinished). It needs platered and painted...

Plastic piece in the window frame is broken. There are a couple like this. Apparently, these particular windows don't actually need them. So why are they there?

Tiler lifted tiles off the 'high' spot. The centre of the bare concrete is level with the surrounding tiles!

Kitchen unit not flush with the floor. Maybe this is OK as the units themselves sit on legs...

Taking the kitchen unit as a vague straight edge, see how the floor drops away.

This corner of the cloakroom has sunk away. Most of the filling in the hole is actually tile adhesive!

A closeup of the hole in the cloakroom floor. I don't know what amazes me more; the fact that Harte left the floor with this finish, or that the tiler actually laid tiles on this!

This is how far the conservatory tiler got before realising the floor was dipping away to the right hand side... I had to lift the tiles and clean them off.

A typical ceiling rose in our house. Not exactly flush.
